CQUni CareerHub for employers

Student Engagement Options

CQU Careers is keen to increase employer engagement with our students.  We see employer engagement as a key component of our student's career development and are keen to facilitate opportunities for our students to build their networks and increase their employability skills.

Interactive Options

Industry Insights
Available every Thursday between 1 pm and 2 pm AEST during term time. You can book this time slot to have a live chat with CQUniversity students about your organisation.
Webinar
If you would like to present information on your organisation and your opportunities to our students outside our Industry Insights series consider booking a webinar. Hosted via the Zoom platform, webinars provide you with the opportunity to present and interact directly with our student audience in real-time. Your session can also be recorded and made available to students as an on-demand resource via the CareerHub Resource library.
Host an Event on Campus
If you are keen to host an event on one of our campuses, we will work with you to schedule a session within a designated lecture timeslot (if possible) or find a time that is most suitable to the specific cohort of students you wish to engage with. Please be aware that on-campus events are subject to any local COVID-19 restrictions and directives.
Promote an External Event
If you are hosting a career or employment event that you would like to promote to CQUniversity students, the CQUni Careers team can promote the event via CQUni CareerHub. Suitable events include graduate recruitment promotion events, skills and employability competitions, careers fairs, and information sessions.
Jobs and Employability Showcase
Our key employer/student engagement event, the Jobs and Employability Showcase has an educational focus in addition to recruitment promotion and offers a variety of engagement options across the event. We invite general expressions of interest from employers to present on employability topics and showcase their organisation at our next Jobs and Employability Showcase.
